Setting Up Your Voicemail
The first time you access your mailbox, you will be asked to set it up.
- To access your mailbox, press the MAIL key
- You will be asked to enter a 4-digit passcode of your choice
- After entering your 4-digit code, the code will be repeated back to you
- To accept the passcode, press #
- You will then be asked to speak your name and then press #
- You can choose to playback your name
- Press # to confirm your settings
Re-Record Your Name
You can re-record your name at any point.
- If you’re not already in your mailbox, press the MAIL key
- Press the “i” key and numbers 614
- Speak your name and then press #
- Press # to save settings
Record Mailbox Greeting
A personalised greeting can be recorded as follows…
- If you’re not already in your mailbox, press the MAIL key
- Press the “i” key and numbers 611
- Speak your greeting and press # when you have finished
- Confirm your greeting by pressing #
Listening To Your Voice Messages
If your mail key is flashing, you will have new messages.
To access your mailbox, press the MAIL key
- Press 1 to listen to voice messages
- Enter your passcode and then listen to the prompts to retrieve your messages
- To skip a message, press +
Viewing Text Messages
If you have a text message, it is essentially a missed call.
- To access your mailbox, press the MAIL key
- Press 3 to view text message / missed caller number
- To return a missed call, press OK to dial
- Press 2 to delete the number
Diverting Calls to Voicemail
If you are out of the office or in a meeting, you may want to divert all your calls to voicemail.
- Press the DIVERT key or dial *21
- Then press the MAIL key
- Press the DISCONNECT key
- To cancel the divert, press DIVERT or #21
Collecting Messages from Outside the Office
It is possible to dial-in and listen to your messages even when you are out of the office.
- Dial your office DDI number
- When your greeting is played, press * and #
- Enter your extension number and passcode
- You will then be able to navigate your mailbox as above.
