Direct Voice and Data is extremely proud to be shortlisted for this year’s Excellence in Business Awards 2015.
Last week, a judging panel met at The Yorkshire Post’s headquarters in Leeds to decide who will walk away with the trophies on the most glittering night in the region’s corporate calendar.
The awards programme is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and is focusing on the theme of responsibility in business, celebrating firms who nurture and support their staff, and display a strong social conscience.
This year’s event features nine categories. PwC and Yorkshire Bank are the awards’ main sponsors; Bradford University School of Management, Drax Group, QBE Insurance and thebigword are the associate sponsors.
Yorkshire Bank is sponsoring the award for companies with a turnover under £10million in which Direct Voice & Data are up against two other finalists.
Sir Gary Verity, chief executive of Welcome to Yorkshire and last year’s Individual Winner, said the awards help to create “a strong and positive profile” for the region.
The awards will be presented at the dinner on 14th October when Justin Webb, of the BBC’s Today programme, will reprise his star turn as Master of Ceremonies. Nominees will join the award judges including, the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, for a spectacular evening.
This latest nomination follows success for Dave Henderson, Managing Director, as last year’s winner of The Examiner Young Business Person of the Year 2014 and the company’s finalist status in the national Family Business of the Year award.
