VoIP is acronym which stands for “Voice over Internet Protocol”. Also known as IP telephony or broadband telephony, it’s basically the action of making telephone calls over the internet.
Although not a completely new technology, VoIP has increased in popularity in recent years and the technology is now readily available on Smartphones and PC’s as well as business telephones from leading manufacturers including Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent and Panasonic.
