Electric vehicle charging provisions are now commonplace in many business premises, workplaces and commercial locations. Typically visits to these locations are longer than a brief stop, so more time is available to charge vehicles, lending itself to the fast type of EV charging (7-22kW) that we offer at DVAD via iCS.
With fast EV charging, up to 90 miles charging range per hour can be achieved depending on the vehicle. Charging at a workplace is not only convenient for employees, it may be their only choice if they live in flats, rented accommodation or a home without off street parking.

The government offers grants to support the wider use of electric and hybrid vehicles via the Office of Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of purchase and installation of electric vehicle charging points, for eligible businesses, charities and public sector organisations.
The grant covers up to 75% of the total costs of the purchase and installation of EV chargepoints (inclusive of VAT). Eligible businesses can receive:
