Installation of brand-new internet connections following the installation of a new Warehouse Management System, and Disaster Recovery Server room move…

full story
Due to the installation of a warehouse management system at four depots, British Wool had a need for robust Wi-Fi coverage, delivered to tight timescales, in active work environments. This required careful planning, as the four sites were widely spread across South West England, West Yorkshire, Wales, and Scotland. They were also not uniform, meaning careful consideration had to go into the planning and deployment of the solution.
Direct Voice and Data were able to meet the customer’s timescales and provide a service that let each site hit the ground running and begin working smoothly from day one. As well as the Wi-Fi element of the project, there were also leased line and networking equipment elements, all centred around a disaster recovery plan, to ensure the company’s data was secure.
the process
Paul Wells, our account manager, worked closely with us and provided an abundance of options and services that were available to us. After carefully guiding us through all of our potential solutions, he gave us as much time as we needed to make a well-informed decision that would best suit the needs of our project.
The service provided to us during the installation was excellent and of an extremely high standard. They installed robust, long-lasting equipment to ensure our depots would run efficiently from the point of implementation.
DVAD were always on hand to provide us with constant support and advice to guide us through this process and inform us as to what the next steps for us would be, without any stress or issue.
It is a testament to DVAD that we don’t need to use their support services often because their services work so well. However, whenever we do need to use them, they are always knowledgeable with their advice, and they always respond quickly.
What They Said
“DVAD provided a superb service from start to finish and were able to offer perfect solutions…”.
Richard Saville, IT Manager - British Wool
